I work as a consultant for event planning and management, targeted research projects, and artistic / collaborative facilitation.

The Producer

As an independent producer, I am interested in how to understand better the characteristics, practices and relationships that define the role.

Research

I have been involved with a range of research across the arts, including:

• Consultant to Circolombia for organisational development (2011)
• Lecturer at UK Centre for Events Management (Leeds Metropolitan University) including undergraduate modules such as Event Marketing, Event Planning Processes, Culture and Celebration, and Festival Management, and research presentations on my experience of working closely with artists, and the concept of 'creative producing' (2009-10)
• Consultant for a new international festival of contemporary performance in Leeds planned by Leeds Metropolitan University Studio Theatre's former Director Annie Lloyd (2009)
• Researcher at ResCen (Middlesex University), specifically researching Shobana Jeyasingh's creative process during the making of [h]Interland (2001-02)
